Aqsusten Injection (Progesterone)

Aqsusten 25 MG Injection is obtained from plant sources and has a similar action to the female hormone. It is used to exact menstrual disorders caused due to an insufficiency of this hormone in the body. It is also exerted as a component in hormone replacement therapy and for the preservation of early pregnancy under specific circumstances.

It is used to treat progesterone hormone deficiency during pregnancy in women. It helps the reproductive system to function normally.

It is in the class of drugs called steroid hormones. The drug acts by reducing the amount of gonadotropin-releasing hormone from the hypothalamus by binding to the generic progesterone and estrogen receptors. It also lessens the follicular maturation and ovulation by suppressing the secretion of pituitary gonadotropin.

The dosage and the drug form rest on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Use as prescribed by your specialist. Take the drug with food. Taking the Injection with food prevents stomach upset.

Apply a thin layer of Aqsusten gel over the affected area and ensure the area is clean and dry before application.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as early as you remember unless it is almost time for the next scheduled dose. Contact your specialist if you have lost more than one dosage.

Overdose

Contact your doctor if an overdose is conjectured. The tentative effects of an overdose could be a headache, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting.
